What do I need ACC approval to do?

Any change made to the outside of your home or property needs approval. 

What about painting my house?

Architectural Control Committee has a set of approved paint colors found on the Architectural Control Committee Guidelines section of our website. If your house currently is not an approved color, you are not required to repaint it. However, when you choose to repaint your house, the color must be one of the approved color choices. Architectural Control Committee approval is required prior to painting.

What are my Maintenance Obligations?

Homeowners must maintain their lot & outside appearance of their dwelling.

Homeowners must provide lawn mowing, edging of the front street curb, driveway and walkway areas, watering, weeding, trimming, tree trimming and general care of landscaping and trees on lots. Lawns must be kept in healthy condition with fertilization & treatment for insect infestations. Each homeowner must maintain & keep in good repair an irrigation/sprinkler system.

Homeowners are required to keep their sidewalks clean and clear from obstruction. You are prohibited from parking on sidewalks.

The exterior walls, trim, windows, roof, soffit, facia, gutters must all be is good repair with walls and trim painted opaque even colored coat of paint.

Can we have commercial trucks or pickup trucks on or about our property?

As per our By-Laws “Trucks, Vans (other than so-called mini-vans), commercial vehicles, boats, trailers, boat trailers, recreational vehicles, motor homes, motorcycles, golf carts” are not permitted to be parked overnight on the road or in a driveway.

Non-commercial pickup trucks are vehicles allowed but they must be parked in your garage from dusk to dawn.

Commercial vehicles are permitted to be parked on our roadways or driveways for a short period of time only while they are servicing or repairing your dwelling.

Can we install a fence?

Fences that comply with the Fence Guideline are permitted. Architectural Control Committee approval is required prior to installing any fence.

Can we have animals in our home or outside our residence?

You are permitted to have a reasonable number of domestic pets inside your dwelling, (dogs, cats, birds or other household pets) No pets are permitted to be kept outside of your home.

Pets must not be a nuisance to any other homeowners or interfere with the peaceful environment or co-­existence of other homeowners.

No Farm animals (such as horses, pigs, cattle, cows, goats, sheep, poultry) or exotic animals are permitted. 

I would like to assist my neighbors in Eagle Lake Estates.  How can I Volunteer?

Our Community is run by committees of volunteers made up our homeowners. This keeps our annual dues much lower that they would be if we were to hire a professional manager, but it only works if have volunteers, people like you that a willing to spent a little of your time and talents to keep our community special.
